KOSMOS RS485 Output Option

The RS4 communication option allows the connection of up to 31 KOSMOS 96×48 instruments to a master device via the RS485 serial interface.
The option comes with the following accessories:

• The option card.
• A 2m cable with RJ12 connectors at each end.
• An adapter for two cables with RJ12 terminals.

The configuration menu is activated when the card is connected and allows us to program the instrument address from 0 to 99, the transmission speed (1200 to 19200 baud) and the communication protocol (standard, ISO1745 or MODBUS) as well as the response delay (30 to 300 ms).
